Our office has represented many people who have fled their country because they have suffered harm because of their:

  • race
  • religion
  • national origin
  • membership in groups, and/or
  • political opinions

Examples of the asylum seekers we have represented are:

  • a Haitian man who was targeted because of his political activity
  • a gay Ugandan woman who was forced into marriage with a man and suffered domestic violence
  • a woman from Cameroon who was detained and tortured because of her membership in political organizations
  • a Ugandan woman who was in fear of female circumcision by her tribe
  • an Ethiopian boy who was targeted because of his mixed Ethiopian/Eritrean ethnicity
  • a man from Somalia whose family members were killed because of their clan membership
  • a Colombian student who was outspoken about her political beliefs

We have represented asylum claims from many countries including:

We represent asylum seekers who have yet not filed their applications with USCIS and we also represent asylum seekers whose cases are in the Immigration Court.
